Lorenzo 'Enzo' D'Val        

Originally from the Plateau, Lorenzo's father, as Lorenzo would later come to find out, was apparently involved in some shady business deals with some very shady, very bad people.  Shortly after Enzo's birth, his father's business relationship went bad, and his partners were out for blood. To protect his wife and newborn, Enzo's father sent them off the Plateau where they would start a new life deep in the Hiding Jungles of Amansky. He was never heard from again.

In the Jungles, Enzo had a very sheltered childhood, his mother allowing him very little interaction with other people in his village.  Not knowing the reason behind his mother's social restrictions, Enzo would often sneak out at night to explore and socialize.  Things went on this way for years, until one night nearly three decades later, when returning from his night-time adventures, he found his mother murdered in her sleep, the gnomish assassin standing over her, blood still dripping from his blade.  Enzo narrowly escaped with his life, and spent many years on the run, dealing with frequent attempts on his life.  He used his innate magic to blend in, moving from town to town and never staying in one place for more than a few weeks.  Eventually sick of always looking over his shoulder, Lorenzo recently went on the offensive, vowing to track down the people responsible for his mother's death and his father's disappearance, not only for their honor but also for his own sanity.  His first lead on the Amatine Assassins took him to Port Springs, where he became entangled in the plot of the Day Turned Dark.

Enzo is typically pristinely dressed in shades of brown, with high leather boots, a long leather hooded duster, and a crisp high collar white shirt. He keeps his dark brown hair pulled back tightly in a small ponytail at the base of his neck.

Enzo utilizes his shapechanging ability to take a form that suits his needs at any given moment.  Regardless of his form, he cannot withstand too much punishment and therefore tries not to engage in melee for any extended amount of time.  He favors the use of illusion and enchantment spells to remove enemies from combat.
