Behind the Scenes

Keldaan Windblade            

Keldaan is a member of the Windblade family, who are traditionally the Elven Royal Family's Bodyguard and founders of Lalakansakalpa. Members of the family are encouraged to learn the art of Lalakansakalpa but Keldaan wanted to take a different path. Against the wish of his family, he decided to study to become an Arcane Archer. As Keldaan reached adulthood he decided to get a better feel for the world he lived in. He decided to start this journey in Port Springs.

When Keldaan arrived in Port Springs he ran into Daane Silversword who was recruiting members to help fight evil in the city.  Keldaan decided to join Daane's adventuring crew.  Little did he know this decision would change his life forever.

Daane and Keldaan had defeated evil throughout the city.  Then the group ran into Allar, whom they later found out started a cabal called the Day Turned Dark.  They battled Allar, and thought they had defeated him at the expense of most of their group except for Daane and Keldaan w. However, Keldaan was seriously wounded by magic from Allar that drained his of life force.  After this battle, Keldaan and Daane recruited others to aid in the fight against the Day Turned Dark.  After a few unsuccessful missions and a run in with the law, Keldaan had realized that he was starting to become unraveled and his obsession with defeating Allar had take him over. Keldaan then decided to return to the Elven lands to regroup.

Keldaan returned and explained to his family what had happened.  He asked them to help him get over his need for revenge.  His family decided to aid him but they also requested Keldaan help in another matter.  Since there were no other Windblades in Keldaan's generation that could master the art of Lalakansakalpa, they asked Keldaan to put down his bow and take up the sword and study Lalakansakalpa.  They also thought this would help refocus him due to the intense training he would receive.  Keldaan agreed and the training did help to calm him and refocus him; but as fate would have it Keldaan met up with Daane who was traveling near the Elven Forest.  Daane convinced Keldaan to return to Port Springs with him to defeat Allar once and for all.

Keldaan agreed and is now battling Allar and the Day Turned Dark in Port Springs but he is slowly losing hold of his sanity to his need for vengeance.

Keldaan in his current state of mind is very quick to react. If he gets a chance before a battle he will cast Cat's Grace and Mirror Image. Then the
first round of battle he often cast True strike and charges his opponents and uses power attack and takes away the maximum points to hit to due maximum damage. He finish off this attack with his ability Conduit and will discharge a shocking grasp or Dimensional Hop through his Sword.
