Cavalier

Honor in Life, Glory in Death
                                                                                                                                                       Ancient Creed of the Cavalier

Before most of the knightly orders came into existence, there were mounted warriors and warriors with a code. These men were known as cavaliers. They fought nobly and honorably. They fought by a code and took an oath. These codes and oaths were not and are not universal, but their value to the cavalier is.

In many regions, the cavaliers have disappeared. In Yellowia, they are replaced with the Eshalmon. In the Destroytian Republic, they are replaced by the Knights of the Republic. Even in Icefia, where the once king and now deity of cavaliers lived; the cavalier has been mostly replaced by the Knight of the White Sword. One of the few nations left where the traditional art form of the cavalier is taught is in the Orcish Empire.

Fighters are the dominant class among cavaliers. There are some paladins and a few rangers, but most other classes cannot expend the effort training to learn the difficult skills required. Humans and orcs are the most common cavaliers by far. There are no known cavaliers of many of the other races.
